Deja Entendu (2003) is the sophomore release of Long Island based band Brand New. Vastly different to their first release, Your Favourite Weapon, Deja Entendu was positively reviewed by critics for the meaningful songs and lyrics. The lyrics in Deja Entendu (which means 'already heard') are much more paranoid, fearful and angry. Two of the songs deal with almost non-consenual sex. Two singles were released from the album: "The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows" and "Sic Transit Gloria...Glory Fades".
This album ranked at #47 for Top 100 Albums of 2003 by Rate Your Music.
