Dedative

The dedative case (also referred to as respective) is a case found in Quenya (the Elvish tongue of Tolkien's Lord of the Rings). It may have analogs in real-world human languages. It indicates a relationship to something. Not clear if it is strictly used with prepositions, transitive verbs, intransitive verbs, or if it has a general application.
