Dead or Alive Ultimate is a multiplayer fighting game for the Xbox. It is a remake of the games Dead or Alive and Dead or Alive 2 from the developer Tecmo. The game requires Xbox Live in order to play online. Dead or Alive Ultimate includes 12 different game modes, and 15 different characters from the Dead or Alive series

Itagaki and team ninja has succeeded in making a remake of a game which everyone told was impossible to remake.
DOA Ultimate tells some critical parts of the story of the mugen tenshin clan. About which before only speculations where circulating the web. That been said there are still enough mysterious and questions left that remained unanswered.
The fighting moves for DOA Ultimate are exactly the same as for DOA2. So original DOA2 fans don't have to learn new moves and could use their old DOA2 skills right in battle. Adding or making new moves would not have been consistent with the original game. Team ninja did a good way of rekeeping the old moves.
