Dead Man's Folly
Dead Man's Folly is a 1956 detective novel by Agatha Christie. It features Hercule Poirot, her famous Belgian detective.
In the story, Poirot is invited by Ariadne Oliver to a murder hunt during a fair, where the goal is to figure out the mystery. However, when the young girl playing the part of the body is found to be truly dead and Lady Stubbs, wife of Sir George Stubbs and hostess of the fair goes missing, Poirot must solve the real mystery.
Interestingly, the house where the story is set is based on one of the houses Christie owned. She has done this in more than one book.
