Dave Kitson

Dave Kitson (born January 21 1980 in Hitchin, England) is a football player for Reading F.C.. He plays in the forward position.

One of the most exciting and talented players that have played for Cambridge in the past few years, the gangly ginger heard striker was a prolific asset to the team scoring on a regular basis for the U's. 'Kits' has all the attributes of a quality striker, strength, pace and an ability to find the net from just about anywhere around the box. His sale to Reading in December 2003 for £150,000 was indeed a bargain for the Royals, Kitson going on to score 5 goals in just 10 starts. in the 2004–2005, despite injury he has gone on to score a further 16 goals for his new club.
