Dave Hyatt

Dave Hyatt is a software developer currently employed by Apple Computer, (started July 15 2002) where he is part of the development team responsible for the Safari web browser.

Hyatt worked at Netscape Communications from 1997 to 2002 where he contributed to the Mozilla, Camino and Firefox browsers. He is credited with the initial implementations of tabbed browsing for all three applications. Hyatt also wrote the first specifications for the XBL and XUL programming languages.

Hyatt studied as an undergraduate at Rice University and graduate at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Hyatt developed and maintains the software for the Shadowland Six in his spare time, a forum/discussion server for the Shadowrun community.
