Dave Abbruzzese
Dave Abbruzzese (born May 17 1968 in Stamford, CT) was Pearl Jam's drummer from 1991 to 1994. He replaced Dave Krusen shortly before the release of the band's first album Ten, and played on the next two records, Vs. and Vitalogy. He was kicked out of the band around July 1994.
After his stint with Pearl Jam, Abbruzzese formed Green Romance Orchestra, a band comprising himself and former Ten Hands members J. Paul Stevens and Gary Müller. The group released one record, Play Parts I and IV (1997).
On his earlier, pre-Vs. Pearl Jam recordings, such as the single State of Love and Trust and the second version of Even Flow that was used in the video, Dave is known to have used Ludwig drums. As of the Vs. record, Dave used Drum Workshop drums, Sabian cymbals, and seemed to favor an 8x12 Brady snare drum.
