Daniel MacPherson

Daniel Macpherson (born 25 April 1980, in Sydney, Australia) is an Australian actor and television presenter. Prior to becoming an actor, he was a triathlete, however when his agent discovered him, he soon landed the role of Joel Samuels in the popular soap opera Neighbours. This is a role he had from, 1998 until 2002. After leaving this he travelled to the UK to be in a british production of the musical Godspell. After that he won the role of PC Cameron Tait in the British drama The Bill, he stayed in this role from 2003 until 2004.

More recently he went back to Australia to present the Australian version of the singing contest, The X Factor.
