Dakara Superweapon

In the Stargate science fiction universe, the Dakara Superweapon is a device that was built by the Ancients, the creators of the Stargate, and is designed to reduce all matter within its range to its basic atomic structure. It does this by propagating a disruptor wave, which could destroy all life. It was recently used by the SG-1 team in conjunction with the entire Stargate network (made possible with Ba'al's help) to destroy the Replicators in the two-part episode "Reckoning". The device would disrupt communication between Replicator cells, effectively neutralizing them. Although the weapon wasn't intended for this use, Samantha Carter, with the help of her father Jacob Carter and Ba'al, were able to modify the device to the correct disruptor frequency. The device, shortly after the destruction of the Replicators, was destroyed by the Jaffa (Stargate) in the episode "Threads" due to the potential threat that Anubis posed if he took control over the weapon.
