Daelli is a verb that means to do the most completely inappropriate action for any given situation. It comes from the great Argentian philosopher Alejandro Daelli who once proclaimed, "Oh sh*t! Cops!". He is well known for frequently committing inappropriate actions and even appropriate actions that resulted in the worst possible consequences.

For instance, if someone were to accidentally back up a truck into someone's awning on two separate occasions, you could say, "That driver Daellied that awning!"

In another sense, "Daelli" can be used as a noun, representing a single incident of doing an inappropriate action. If someone were, for instance, to drag race his father's Ford Mustang under peer pressure and in doing so hit a curb and damange the axel, that person would have committed a Daelli. In such a situation, that person may follow up with explaining the incident to his parents in a broken from of Spanglish, placing the blame on a "crazy teenager" and "el curb".
