Digital Transmission Content Protection

DTCP, or Digital Transmission Content Protection, is a Digital rights management technology. The DTCP standard was issues by the DTLA (Digital Transmission Licensing Administrator) to protect multimedia distribution in the Digital Home.
There are mappings allowing operation over FireWire (IEEE-1394), USB, and MOST (a media standard intended for next-generation automotive platforms).
