Cycle of the Werewolf
"Cycle of the Werewolf" is a horror novel released in 1983 by Stephen King, featuring illustrations by renowned comic book artist Bernie Wrightson. Weighing in at a mere 127 pages, each chapter is basically a very short story unto itself. It is not regarded among this author's best work, and is his only foray into the mythos of werewolves.
It was adapted into the screenplay "Silver Bullet", and the motion picture was released in 1985, directed by Daniel Attias.
This story revolves around the residents of the fictional town of Tarker's Mills, which is being terrorized by a werewolf who, unbeknownst to the townfolk, is in fact the local Reverend, Lester Lowe.
