Cue ball

In billiard games, the cue ball is usually the ball that a player must hit with the pool cue. It is usually white. It should always be the same size as the other balls, but in certain kinds of coin operated pool tables, it is slightly bigger.

Cue balls have been made from wood, ivory, and various synthetic materials. Modern cue balls are made from phenolic resin.

Magnetic Cue Balls

Magnetic cue balls are balls used in coin operated pool tables. They are used in conjunction with electronic sensors which when tripped, redirect the cue ball from entering a bin and thus being locked away (thereby ending the game).
