Cry Ed

"Cry Ed" is an episode of the animated television series Ed, Edd n Eddy. This episode originally aired on December 20, 1999.

Plot synopsis

The Eds are attracting the other kids' attention, when Jimmy's foot gets hit with a clothes peg. Jimmy puts on a pity play and everyone starts attending to him.

Eddy gets mad over being ignored, and decides that he'll have to pretend to be injured in order for people to notice him.

He pretends that he was attacked by a giant meatball, and the kids all come to him. But then, a tree happens to fall on Jimmy, and they all go back to him.

Edd tells Eddy that he'll get more attention if his cry of anguish is real, not faked, so Eddy has Ed drop a house on him. When that doesn't work, he rides a frying pan and crashes.

Now everyone's interested in him again. Edd doesn't like everyone getting hurt, so he manufactures Jimmy an indestructible bubble suit, which everyone loves. Eddy decides to one-up him and uses a steel furnace as a suit, but that just gets him beat up by Kevin and Rolf.
