Creedmoorer
Creedmoorer is a Yiddish term which denotes a follower of Creedmoor Chassidism, a Chassidic sect that originates in the Creedmoor Psychiatric Hospital in Queens, New York. Incorrectly said to be an offshoot of Satmar, Creedmoor is led by the rabidly anti-Zionist "Dovid'l Creedmoorer (Goldman)," a renegade Breslover Chossid who founded Creedmoor Chassidism (Heb: Chassidus Creedmoor) upon his commitment to the Creedmoor facility.
As the Internet became more and more widely used, the director of Creedmoor at the time decided to allow the "Admou"r (Grand Rabbi) of Creedmoor" to post on Usenet as a way of dealing with his hateful and often disjointed thought patterns. Internet therapy attracted other Jewish patients to Creedmoor, most notably the Mahadrek, a Conservative Jew who specialised in attacks on Orthodox Jews. Mahadrek's community is known as Congregation Beth Refuah. In addition, Creedmoor boasts its own Moshiach (Messiah) of the Jews, Israel Tekhelet, who is said to be a Gentile from Englewood, Colorado. Some authorities believe that Mahadrek, the Admou"r and Israel Tekhelet are actually multiple personalities of the same individual – Dovid'l Creedmoorer.
Dovid'l Creedmoorer is a noted composer of liturgical music, most of which is based upon the phrase "I'be'avid reshooim rino" – a Hungarian Yiddishized variant of a quote from Proverbs – "Upon the death of the wicked, there are shouts of joy!" The Admou"r equates the wicked with Zionists, and in his music, he writes of his yearning for their destruction.
Despite the fact that inter-communal strife is often the norm in mixed communities of this type, Creedmoor community leaders get on well with one another and even with the various and sundry anti-Semites who populate the Internet therapy ward. For example, Goldman is extremely opposed to the existence of Israel. Therefore, his views are accepted by the most virulent Jew haters in the Internet ward (D-ward), who often quote his diatribes. And Tekhelet impersonates an extreme right wing Jew, so extreme that he advocates the destruction of the Dome of the Schlock (Wal-Mart). Therefore, his posts are quoted by anti-Semites who are looking for radical opinions to mock; they do so by claiming Tekhelet is representative of the average Jew, and therefore ascribing such positions to the community at large.
The Creedmoorer Jewish communities, which include the main Chassidic congregation (K'hal Sinos Chinom d'Creedmoor) and Beth Refuah, as well as the Nambler community Ahavas Ne'arim (Love of Youth) and the Arba Misos Beis Din of Creedmoor, are organised into an umbrella group called the Disjointed Jewish Communities of Creedmoor. This group is funded by welfare, Medicaid and SSI payments, often disbursed in the name of each multiple personality who serves on the Community Bulletin Board (soc.culture.jewish.unmoderated and soc.culture.israel, both of which operate solely for the use and enjoyment of the Creedmoor community).
