Cranbrook, British Columbia
Cranbrook, British Columbia is a city in the Canadian province of British Columbia, Canada located at a Latitude of 49°31' North and a Longitude 115°46' West. As of the 2001 census, the population was 18,476. The area of the city is 17.8 square kilometres. Population density is 1,038.3 persons per square kilometre. Cranbrook is the seat of the Regional District of East Kootenay.
Cranbrook is home to the famous Museum of Rail Travel which presents static exhibits of sumptuous rail cars built in the 1920s for the CPR and in the 1900s for the Spokane International Railway. It is also the home of the Kootenay Ice, a WHL hockey team.
