Craig Esherick
Craig Esherick was the head coach of the Georgetown University basketball team from 1999 until 2004. He was a veteran of the team, and was an assistant coach under the legendary John Thompson. His record at Georgetown was 103–74, though his teams had progressively worse years season-by-season and Esherick presided over the first two Georgetown teams in 30 years to not participate in postseason play. His 2003–04 team began the season 10–0 but finished on a 0–9 losing streak to close out the season 4–12 in the Big East Conference. Esherick was fired and replaced by John Thompson III, then the head coach at Princeton University.
