Cob

Cob has a number of meanings.

• Cob is a building material or type of house built from that material.
• CoB is a TLA that means "Close of Business"
• Cob is a type of loaf.
• A Cob is any short-legged, stout variety of horse intended for heavy riders
• A Cob is a male swan (the female is a "pen")
• The cob is the woody center of an ear of maize (corn), eg. corn on the cob.
• CoB is sometime used as a shortening for Finnish power metal group Children of Bodom.
• Cob is the name for an object in Creatures 1 and 2. Creatures 3 (and Creatures Docking Station) use the term Agent instead.
