Clive Churchill Medal

This medal is presented to the man-of-the-match in the yearly Rugby League Grand Finals since 1986. The first recepient of the medal was Parramatta's Peter Sterling. It has been named after one of the greatest players in history – Clive "the Little Master" Churchill who played for and later coached the South Sydney Rabbitohs. He also played interstate footy for NSW and QLD and played for and coached the Australian Kangaroos.
