CIM Radio
CIM Radio is a smooth jazz Internet radio station launched on October 2, 2001 and is based in New York City, New York. Its extra "smooth-groove" format and strong support for independent smooth labels made it popular among long time listeners of smooth jazz radio.
In early 2004, CIM Radio rebranded into smooth fusion to expand its offerings by including a wider variety of smooth tracks, particularly those that have less to do with jazz itself. Later that year, CIM Radio announced listenership of over 3.5 million worldwide.
In mid-2004, CIM Radio expanded its reach to include support for WMA and has been exclusively featured on the new Windows Media Player 10 Internet radio directory of jazz channels.
