Plot

600 million years ago, Pangaea created an robot named Bacchus Rage, who turned on his creators. The KingRanger defeated Bacchus Rage & banished him from Earth. In year 1999, Bacchus is now the ruler of the Baranoia & returns to earth with the intention of wiping out all human life & bring about machine rule. Chief Counsellor Miura revived super energies that have been given birth by the lost civilization of Pangaea. Assembling pieces of a stone plate uncovered three years ago, the secrets of "Super Power" has been revealed. Miura builds a pyramid that generates Tetrahedron power that would allow five UAOH officers to transform into Ohrangers.

The five Ohrangers are members of the U.A.O.H.

Gorou Hoshino/OhRed: Ace pilot & Team Leader. Uses karate. The others call him "captain".
Shouhei Yotsukaichi/OhGreen:: second in command. Boxer.
Yuuji Mita/OhBlue: Swift. Uses jumps and midair fighting tactics.
Juri Nijou/ OhYellow: Uses martial arts researched in America.
Momo Maruo/OhPink: Uses Chinese boxing, she is very cheery.

Chief Counsellor Miura:

Riki/King Ranger: The legendary child-like hero of Pangaea who chased Bacchus-Rage off Earth 600 millions years ago who was revived from suspended animation. He is the protector of Dorin.

Dorin: A girl of Pangaea whose pet is a green lizard named Paku.

Ganmajin: An ancient warrior who fought with honor and courage. Imprisoned within the form of a tiny tiki, the only way to unlock his power-is by placing a key into his forehead and reciting the magic words. Ganmajin possessed the Majin Saber through which he focused his power into the four styles of Majin One Sword Fencing (Fire, Lightning, Wind and Blinding Light).

Machine Empire Baranoia

An cruel race of machines out to conquer Earth. Possessing countless armies, Takopas jet fighters, Baranoia was an force to reckon with, having already conquered an entire chain of galaxies before reaching Earth. It was when the Empire arrived on Earth that they finally encountered a the power that was capable of repelling their forces, the Ohrangers.

Emperor Bacchus-Rage: The ruler of Baranoia, Bacchus-Rage was created 600 million years ago by an ancient race. He turned to evil & was banished into the depths of space by King Ranger. Bacchus-Rage was finally tired of fooling around & took matters into his own hand. He grew and battled the the OhBlocker, but was destroyed in the fight.

Empress Hysteria: Wife of Bacchus-Rage, she remains in the fortress devising plans with her husband. She does go down on Earth by herself sometimes. She usually carries a metal fan with her. She loves her husband and son dearly.

Prince Buldont/Kaizer Buldont: The son of Bacchus-Rage, he is basically a robot child. He was later upgraded into an 'adult' version of himself, Kaizer Buldont, to regain his birthright as ruler of Baranoia. He died fighting the OhRangers in the finale.

Acha & Kocha: Servant-types who follow whoever is in command at the time, Acha is the most human of them. Kocha was upgraded with "enlargement system" to make MachineBeasts into giants.

Keris(26): A Officer who came to Earth to help destroy KingRanger.

Bomber the Great: He had previously tried to take over the Baranoia Empire, but failed. After the death of Bacchus-Rage, he took over the empire and sent Buldont off. Being new to the throne Bomber did his best at leading the Empire, trying to win Hysteria's affections & killing the Ohrangers in the process, but was met with failure each and every time. But he meet his end by the OhRangers when Kaiser Buldont returned to take back the throne & Multiwa took control of Bomber with one of her love arrows. Bomber was soon sent on a suicide mission to kill the Ohrangers, only to be killed into a massive ball of fire by King Pyramidder. He then was rebuilt to do it again, only to be flung into the sun by Ganmajin.

Princess Multiwa: Hysteria's niece who appeared around the same time Buldont was upgraded & returned to reclaim the throne. She aided him by using her love arrows to make Bomber her obedient love slave, which later led to his destruction. The two married after Buldont was made the new ruler of Baranoia. Her main weapon is a bow, which can also become a sword. She met her end by her husband's side, but not before she born him a son.

Barlo Soldiers: Androids that function like monkeys. They pilot the Takopas jet fighters.

Bara Brain (6–7): He was sent to get Chief Miura to reveal the location of the Ohranger Robo. He had many tricks.

Bara Separate(6–7): A giant robot Bara Brain created which defeated the Ohranger before they got the Ohranger Robo together. BaraSeparate could radiate destructive lightning, and fire power blasts from his arms. The top segment of the star on his back can detach and transform into a boomerang of destructive energy. Separate has the ability to transform into a large metal sphere, making it practically invulnerable to any attack. Eventually the Ohrangers managed to form Ohranger Robo & destroy the monster.

Bara Missiler(8, 33): Bara Missiler comes from the army on the planet Dorora. He was the first MachineBeast to be enlarged. Missiler could fire rockets from its arms and shoulders. It can also fire chains out from his torso which he can ensnare an opponent with. He was capable of flying at extreme speeds and can operate in outer space.

Bara Darts(9, 33): A MachineBeast who threw parts at people or things making them rust.

Bara Hacker (10):

Bara Bara Printer(11, 33): Made to make people fall in love with machines.

Bara Bara Baby(12): He made babies cry strangely, with screams capable of making buildings and soda bottles explode. He radiated a beam out of his pointy hat. The Baranoia's goal was to make humans hate babies and the human race's future come to an end. But it backfired, mothers tried so hard to make the babies not cry. Love was underestimated. Bara Baby then came along with a tambourine to make a lot of noise.
