Choi Ji Woo is one of Korea's most popular actresses and models. Born on June 11, 1975, in Gyeonggi Paju, South Korea, she made her debut in the 1995 drama War and Love, and changed her name to Choi Ji Woo. Choi rose to some fame from the drama series First Love.

Choi co-starred with actor Bae Yong Jun in the Korean Drama Series (Winter Sonata) in March 2002, which in turn helped her to gain fame from the high popularity of that drama, especially in Japan. Choi has an on-and-off relationship with Bae Yong Jun, though they are separated today.

Lately, Choi has gained a wide Japanese audience watching her romantic comedy movie, Everybody Has Secrets, in which she has co-starred with Lee Byung Hun.
