Chicane

A chicane is a sequence of tight serpentine curves (usually an S-shape curve) in a roadway, used in auto racing and on city streets to slow cars.
The name also is used by Chicane (recording artist) (AKA Nick Bracegirdle), a U.K. electronic musician.
