Chesed
Chesed or Hesed is the forth Sefirah on the tree of life (Kabbalah). It is given the assoiation of Love (Although, some think Mercy, Kindness, Emotions and even Justice is more appropiate interpretation.} . It sits below Chockmah, Across from Gevurah and above Netzach. It is usualy given four paths. To Chockmah, Gevurah, Tifereth, and Netzach (some Kabbalahists place a path from Chesed to Binah as well.)
Some other common attributes is the pictorial of a king on his throne (This description is commonly refured by the Golden Dawn). Sometimes also depicted as a lawgiver or peace maker. 777 Describes its attributes as The four four's of the Tarot, Amoun, Isis, Friendliness, Indra, Brahma, Wotan, Poseidon, Jupiter, Unicorn, Shamrock, Amethyst, Sapphire, The Wand, Sceptre or Crook, IHVH, Cedar, Opium, Vision of Love, Among many others.
In the Bahir It says "If a person does not act with kindness (Chesed) toward, he cannot be called pious (Chasid)" and also the bahir states "The present physical world world is alluded to by the south, since the south parallels the Sefirah of Chesed-Love. While the reward of the world to come must be earned, that which is given in the present world is a gift of Love.
