In the animated television show South Park, Cheesy Poofs are a fictional snack similar to Cheetos. The name is a play on "cheesy puffs" (a real snack food) and "poof". The theme song for them is:

The Cheesy Poofs song is set to the tune of the All Things Considered jingle, from the evening news show on NPR.

Apparently, Cartman has a great love for Cheesy Poofs – this is a possible explanation for his considerable girth. Cartman can frequently be heard saying "Yeah I want Cheesy Poofs" in the first season. In one episode, Cartman became the spokesperson for Cheesy Poofs after successfully singing the theme tune.
