Cheesy Peas

"Cheesy Peas" was a fictional product that appeared in the brilliant sketch comedy series – the Fast Show. Paul Whitehouse appeared as an enthusiastic teenager from Manchester in 'youth tv style' clips, raving about how 'brilliant' things were. Cheesy peas – "all the goodness of peas! And all the goodness of cheese! brilliant! Cheesy Peas!". It quickly became a favourite soundbite in pubs all over the UK.
