Cecília Meireles
Cecília Benevides de Carvalho Meireles (1901-1964) was a Brazilian poet, journalist and teacher. She was one of the most famous female poets who ever wrote in the Portuguese language.
Maybe one day, I have not certainty if this is possible, you'll understand what did Cecília Meireles with the words. She was the poet of Time and she dreamed catch all the stars and put them in the past, in the present, in the future, finally, in the Time. She was a woman with a voice. She was my way to the reflection about the Time and the Man. She will be my poet forever.
Eu canto porque o instante existe
E a minha vida está completa.
Não sou alegre nem sou triste,
Sou poeta.
I sing because the moment exist
And my life is complete.
I'm not happy neither sad,
I'm a poet.
(Sorry for my bad English but this is the best that I can.)
