Category:Wiki software

Wiki software is a type of collaborative software that runs a Wiki system. It is usually implemented as a CGI script that runs on one or more web servers. A WikiWikiWeb is a site that allows readers to edit the pages through an HTML form. Wikis are used for collaboration, conversation and documentation – amongst many other things. Typically, pages are stored in an RDBMS and hyperlinking is dynamic. Wikipedia is an example of such a system.
