Cape Breton—Canso is the name of a federal electoral district in Nova Scotia, Canada. Its population is 75,221. (2001)

Geography

The district includes eastern Guysborough County, and the western, southern and eastern coasts of Cape Breton Island. Communities include Cape Breton (part), Guysborough and Port Hawkesbury. The Area is 9,438 sq. km.


History

The electoral district was created in 2003 from 90.4% of Bras-d'Or—Cape Breton, and 9.6% of Pictou—Anitgonish—Guysborough.
