Cahir

Cahir (An Cathair in Irish, meaning "the city") is a town in Tipperary, Ireland. The town is best known for Cahir Castle, near the centre of the town, and the Swiss cottage. It lies on the River Suir.

The town is on the main Limerick–Waterford road, and railway line.
