Butterbeer
Butterbeer is a fictional drink from the Harry Potter book series. Harry is first presented with the beverage in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Though it has no noticeable affect on a thirteen-year-old human, butterbeer is strong enough to cause drunkenness in a house-elf, if consumed on a regular basis. J. K. Rowling told in her interview to the Bon Appetit" magazine that it is supposed "to taste a little bit like less-sickly butterscotch."
The mascot of the Quidditch team the Ballycastle Bats, Barny the Fruitbat, is used in butterbeer advertisements ("Barny says: I'm just batty about Butterbeer!")
