Burnout 3: Takedown is the third game in the high speed arcade racing series, Burnout. Released on September 7th, 2004, Developed by Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts the game drew critical acclaim and a large fanbase.
Burnout 3: Takedown also incorporated a new Takedown system whereby the player is rewarded with points and a speed boost for knocking other, competing racers off the road.
