Burg

A town on the Elbe- Havel canal, northeast of Magdeburg around a former weir, "the Saxon Sluices" (Sachsenschleusen). It is now a minor administrative centre in the land of Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany.

Burg is a site of a large transmitter for long- and mediumwave.
