Buarcos

Buarcos is a freguesia in the concelho of Figueira da Foz. A traditional fishing village, it has grown also as an attractive beach resort, due to the calm waters of its sea, protected by the Boa Viagem small mountain range. Many of its inhabitants still work in the fishing industry. Visitors can find some very enjoyable fish restaurants with a splendid view over the bay.
