Boz Boorer

Boz Boorer (b. Martin Boorer) is a guitarist who composes music for Morrissey. He is Morrissey's main co-songwriter along with Alain Whyte. Boorer was a member of the rockabilly band The Polecats during the early 1980s. He has also released solo material and worked with other artists.

Like Whyte, Boorer joined Morrissey in 1991 when the singer assembled a new band. Boorer played guitar on the sinlges "Pregnant for the Last Time" and "My Love Life". The first album to appear that included his contributions was Your Arsenal. Along with Whyte, he is credited with successfully synthesizing jangle pop and American rockabilly to create a new sound for Morrissey that revitalized his career.
