Boundary Peak (also known as White Mountain Peak) is the highest peak in Nevada and is located in Esmeralda County. It is located entirely within the state of Nevada, although it is about half a mile (1 km) from the California border. Montgomery Peak (13,441 ft) is located just across the border in California. Boundary Peak is 82 feet higher than the second highest Nevada peak, Wheeler Peak (13,065 ft).
