Boston College (MBTA station)

The Boston College stop is the western terminus of the MBTA Green Line B branch. It is located at the northern end of the Boston College campus in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, near the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and Lake Street.

The station, originally called Lake Street, was the east end of the Commonwealth Avenue Street Railway, operated by the Middlesex and Boston Street Railway until 1930, when it was bustituted.

Accessibility

The station is accessible when served by the MBTA's newer low-floor trolley cars. See MBTA accessibility.
