Bosnia and Herzegovina is represented by the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH OK) at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Nine Bosnian athletes qualified for the olympics:

• Nedžad Fazlija, the flag bearer (shooting) – finished 35th in 10 m Air Rifle; 44th in [m Rifle Prone] and 33rd in 50 m Rifle 3 Positions
• Amel Mekić (judo) – defeated in the first round
• Željko Panić (swimming) – finished 54th in 100 m Freestyle
• Srđan Miličević (table tennis) – defeated in the second round
• Mervana Jugić-Salkić (tennis) – defeated in the first round
• Zoran Prerad (taekwondo) – defeated in the first round
• Emir Šarganović (kayak) – finished 23rd in K1 Kayak Single Slalom
