Boise metropolitan area

The Boise metropolitan area is a region of Idaho which includes not only the city of Boise, Idaho's capital and largest city, but also the cities of Meridian, Nampa, Garden City, Caldwell, Kuna, Star, Eagle, Middleton, and Homedale. This area is often referred to as the Treasure Valley, although this term can also be applied to Ontario, Oregon.

The metropolitan area has a total population of approx. 332,000, according to 2000 census numbers.
