Boigu Island
Boigu Island is the most northerly inhabited island in Australian territory. Two smaller islands are considered as a part of Biogu island, these are Aubisi Island and Moimi Island. Boigu is inhabited by Indigenous Torres Strait Islanders. According the the 2001 Australian census, 270 people live on the Island.
The island is 6km from Papua New Guinea.
