Boechout

Location of Boechout within the province of Antwerp

Boechout is a municipality located in Flanders, one of the three regions of Belgium, and in the Flemish province of Antwerp. The municipality comprises the towns of Boechout proper and Vremde. On January 1st, 2004 Boechout had a total population of 11,953 (6,022 males and 5,931 females). The total area is 20.66 km² which gives a population density of 578.69 inhabitants per km².

Boechout also hosts the Sfinks festival
