Spike and Suzy

Spike and Suzy or Bob & Bobette (both in the United Kingdom) or Willy and Wanda (in the United States) is an originally Flemish series of comic books called Suske en Wiske originally conceived by Willy Vandersteen (1913-1990) in the 1940s. New books are still created and it was and is popular among children in the Netherlands and Belgium. Many Flemish and Dutch adults consider the older books to be a classic.

and the "bad-guys" are mainly Krimson, but also a lot of caracters which do not participate in al the books.

In the series of Spike and Suzy is development. Characters are added, change, and the level of moral increases. Lambik and Jerom change a lot. Lambik was in the begin just a stupid funy fool, but by now he is a sarcastic man, which does not beleave in, for instance, supernatural magic. Jerom was in the begin just a stupid very strong man, the strongest man at the western half of the world, but by now he is a wise man with little words. In most stories Sawdust is just a puppet, which is however very special for Suzy, and they are inseperateble. In some stories Sawdust comes alive, and playes an important role.
