About Bo' Rai Cho

The Outworlder Bo' Rai Cho, although first introduced in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, has been the teacher of many great warriors, including the Great Kung Lao, Shujinko, Liu Kang, Li Mei and Kung Lao. Because he is originally from Outworld, he never entered the Mortal Kombat tournament himself, since it would have meant competing on Outworld's behalf for brutal emperor Shao Kahn. Instead, he used his fighting prowess to train Earthrealm warriors without becoming directly involved until the Deadly Alliance of Shang Tsung and Quan Chi emerged. He secretly snuck through the palace until he came to the throne room were he freed and carried the body of Li Mei and ran. Outside the palace he met Raiden and the other Earth Realm warriors, Raiden teleported to saftey before the heroes attack on the palace.

The benign but scruffy Outworld master is revered for his great knowledge of martial arts and his fighting skills. What he lacks in good manners and sophistication of character, he more than makes up for with his bonhomie and good nature. But even his lesser traits, such as his obesity and frequent drunkenness, become assets in battle, to overcome his unsuspecting enemy.
