Blythe Bridge

Village in Staffordshire, England

Blythe Bridge is a village situated in the South-Eastern suburbs of the city of Stoke-on-Trent. It has a high school, college & library, as well as two public houses and several fast-food outlets.

Blythe Bridge is so called as it is built around the site of the bridge over the River Blythe, a small river which passes directly through the village.

Passing through the village are a railway line and the Uttoxeter Road, a former major motorway (M1 > M6) link route which was relieved by the A50 dual-carriageway.
