Blessington
Blessington, formerly Baile Coimin, is a town in County Wicklow, Ireland with a population of about 5000. The town is famous for its lakes which span about 5,000 acres (20 km²). The Blessington Lakes were formed 50 years ago by the building of the Poulaphouca Dam and hydroelectric power station and today serve the purpose of providing the power and water supply County Dublin.
