Bay Area thrash

Bay Area thrash describes a style of thrash metal popularised by bands in the San Francisco Bay Area in the 1980s. Bands contributing to this movement included Metallica, D.R.I., Exodus, Testament, Death Angel, Vio-lence, and Forbidden.
