Battle of Adwalton Moor

The Battle of Adwalton Moor was a battle in the English Civil War on 30 June 1643. The Royalists under William Cavendish, Duke of Newcastle defeated the Parliamentarians under Ferdinando Fairfax, 2nd Baron of Cameron.

Newcastle marched on Bradford with 10,000 men against Fairfax's 3,000–4,000.
