Barbara Gede

Barbara Gede, (90/60/90) hungarian born dancer, singer, musician, photographer, poet and devoted friend. Expert in several dance styles, she loves performing in groups with fellow dancers. Her musical talent involves the perfect mastering of an unique musical instrument, the avakumika, created by a native of her favorite town Szentendre. As a singer, she is working on her most recent recording project, under the title "New Tubes Have Arrived" ("Des Nouveaux Tubes Sont Arrives"), which is expected to continue her tradition of rythmic latin themes with cunning french lyrics.

As a photographer, she loves working with amateurs, and has been praised by many critics, during her occasional exhibits in the hungarian capital. Photography is also her favorite method to express her poetry, which transpires with equal intensity through her music.

She is expected to start her European tour in early 2005.
