Baba Novac

Baba Novac was a commander of Serbian origin of Mihai Viteazul's army. After Mihai was assassinated, Baba Novac was arrested by the Nobiliary Diet of Cluj (made out of the Hungarian Nobility) and burnt at the stake. A statue of his can be found in Cluj-Napoca.
