BMW E24

The BMW E24 automobile platform was the basis for the first production of BMW 6-Series Coupés, manufactured between the 1977 and 1989 model years. Replaced by the E31 chassis 8-Series coupés, the 6-series moniker was reclaimed by the BMW E63 chassis beginning in the 2004 model year.
